ABOUT US
Aiton Veterinary Service was started in 2017 by Dr. Brock Aiton DVM and his wife Larissa. Initially limited to being primarily a mobile service for cattle, the practice has expanded to include top quality care for companion animals as well. The practice has been a family affair since the beginning and now includes their two children Chaz & Jenna. In 2023 the Spa Bar in Zurich, MT was purchased and renovations began to make a new home for Aiton Veterinary Service. The clinic was opened in the spring of 2024 thanks in large part to Brock’s parents Sam & Leslie Aiton who dedicated a large amount of time and effort to help make this dream a reality. Now complete, we are excited to offer the best veterinary care and support possible to our community.
Our team
Brock Aiton, DVM
Brock Aiton DVM – I was born and raised in Arizona then went to Colorado State University where I received an Animal Science degree followed by graduating veterinary school there in 2012. I began working in Chinook right away and met Larissa there while on the job. We were married and now have 2 children, Chaz and Jenna. I started Aiton Veterinary Service in 2017 and I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and all aspects of veterinary medicine.
Larissa Aiton
I was born and raised in Chinook. I got married to the love of my life in 2014. I had been in banking for 10 years til we had our first child. The majority of the time I get to stay home and raise our children, Chaz and Jenna. I will be helping in the clinic when I’m not chasing toddlers around. I am excited for this new adventure.
Kathy O'Brien
I have been working for Aiton Veterinary Service for the past 7 years. Prior to this I worked for Blaine County Veterinary Service for over 20 years. Chinook has been my home since 1980 when I was hired by Chinook Schools to teach and coach. After leaving the teaching profession I began to work for BCVS. I have enjoyed working with animals. I am looking forward to working for Dr. Aiton when needed and the opening of the new clinic.
Jen Skoyen
Hello, my name is Jennifer and everyone calls me Jen. I have lived in Chinook most of my life. My husband Frank and I have one daughter Sami and 2 boys, Julian and Evan. Together we operated the family ranch that I grew up on. I have worked at the local stockyards then I worked for a local veterinarian for 10+ years which has prepared me to be an awesome veterinary technician for Aiton Veterinary Service. I enjoy working with large and small animals and I love cows. My favorite pastime is watching my kids grow up and of course working cows and fishing with my kids!
